The "What They Know" effort from the WSJ has yielded another very interesting study. Your location IS now used to determine what price to charge you for online goods. So your neighbor a few streets over may pay more or less for the exact same item at the exact same store than you.

A committee is working on a "Do Not Track Me" standard whereby a user can have a "Do Not Track Me" button which she can activate to inform websites very politely not to track her.

To update Epic or check if there are any new updates, you can always click on the blue Epic menu, then "Help", then "Updates".
Many Epic users have, though, uninstalled Epic then re-installed Epic to update. As mentioned above, this shouldn't be necessary...
